I’m a Product Design Leader based in Austin with 13+ years designing digital products—7 of those building and mentoring high-performing design teams.

Currently, I lead UX at a SaaS platform, where I’ve shaped the end-to-end payments experience—designing workflows for onboarding, billing, and compliance that drive retention and build trust at scale. My work bridges user needs with business outcomes across payroll, fintech, and B2B SaaS.

I’ve led design in both startup and enterprise environments, scaled design systems, and helped cross-functional teams ship with confidence. I also consult on design systems and mentor growing teams.

Originally from Colombia, I bring a global perspective to my work and life. I’m also a proud dad to two amazing kiddos (plus a pack of dogs), which keeps life joyful, chaotic, and full of purpose. Director of UX

May 2018 - Present

At Hourly, I built and led the product design team from the ground up, shaping the company’s UX vision and scaling design practices across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

I partnered closely with co-founders, PMs, and engineers to define a UX strategy aligned with business goals. Along the way, I introduced and scaled a design system, reduced user errors through research-driven iteration, and mentored a growing team of designers to support their craft and career growth.

At Banco Falabella, I helped create a unified design system and accessibility framework for both internal and customer-facing digital platforms.

Working closely with product and engineering, I led efforts to roll out reusable components and consistent UX patterns. I also helped shift the team toward a more collaborative, design-led approach across mobile and web initiatives.

User Experience Designer

I worked on innovation-focused projects at Fiserv, helping define proto-personas, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. I collaborated across teams to validate concepts through usability testing and early-stage user feedback.

Remote UX/UI

Dec 2013 - Apr 2014

Designed a library of service icons and landing pages for partner programs. I also designed and produced marketing materials, including a downloadable whitepaper, ensuring brand consistency across touchpoints.
